Hersh Hama Amin F Mahmood holds doctoral degree of structural engineering, and currently works as a Director of Research Center and a lecturer at College of Engineering, University of Halabja, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. His research interests lie in civil engineering materials, construction material, concrete material technology, environment and waste management. He has published 13 journal articles. He is also the member of Kurdistan Engineers Union.
